Knanites and Slavish Frame of Mind

(This was received as an anonymous comment in this forum.  Since we feel this needs more attention, we are posting this comment here – Administrator)

Someone here mentioned that Knas have slave-mentality. It is so true.

Almayar are the slaves of priests, priests are the slaves of bishops and bishops are the slaves of Vatican. Perhaps the only exception is our great Muthu. He is not the slave of his bosses, with his unscrupulous nature and money power he has made his bosses his slaves. Exception only proves the rule.

With that slave’s frame of mind, generations of Knanites were ready to believe any story they were told. Panan, Chazhikadan, Kollaparamban and Velliyan vied with each other to weave fancy stories of migration and purity. The poor Kna never thought it is necessary to subject these stories to the simple test of something we lack – common sense.

Till last Saturday, we were made to believe that endogamy is something precious and has been our tradition before Adam and Eve were created. Now, the very same bastards may tell us that it is inhuman, un-biblical and violation of human rights.

Slaves will be liberated only when they become capable of thinking for themselves. That comes with education and enlightenment. At the moment we are a community with third rate members, seventh rate leaders and criminal clergy.

Look at those leaders who go on telling as their definition of who a Kna is when the boat has already sunk!
