അമേരിക്കയില്‍ ന്യൂയോര്‍ക്കില്‍ റോക്കലാന്റില്‍ ഉള്ള സെന്റ്‌ മേരീസ്‌ ക്നാനായ കത്തോലിക്ക മിഷന്‍ അംഗങ്ങളുടെ അംഗത്വ സംബന്ധമായിട്ടുള്ള പ്രത്യേക പൊതുയോഗം ഇന്ന് ഒക്ടോബര്‍ 28 ന് കുര്‍ബാനയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം ഉച്ചകഴിഞ്ഞ് കൂടുകയുണ്ടായി. ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട വികാരി, റെനി കട്ടയിലച്ചന്റെ അധ്യക്ഷതയില്‍ കൂടിയ പൊതുയോഗത്തില്‍ 200-ല്‍പരം ഇടവകാംഗങ്ങള്‍ സംബന്ധിച്ചു.
സെക്രട്ടറി സിജു ചെരുവംകാലായില്‍ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടും ലിബിന്‍ പാണാപറമ്പില്‍ കണക്കും അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു.
പാരിഷ് കൌണ്‍സില്‍ അംഗം എബി കാരിത്തുരുത്തേല്‍ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന പ്രമേയം ഇടവക അംഗങ്ങള്‍ ഐക്യകണ്ഠേന കയ്യടിച്ചു പാസ്സാക്കി. അമേരിക്കയില്‍ സീറോ-മലബാര്‍ രൂപത വന്നതിനു ശേഷം ആദ്യമായി ആണ് ഒരു ഇടവക ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരു പ്രമേയം പാസ്സാക്കുന്നത്‌. ജനങ്ങളുടെ വികാരം മനസ്സിലാക്കിയ വികാരിയച്ചന്‍, ക്നനായക്കാരില്‍ എന്‍ഡോഗമി പാലിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് മാത്രമായിക്കും ഈ ഇടവക എന്ന് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു.
RESOLUTION
Whereas, The Knanaya Catholics under the ecclesiastical jurisdiction of Rokland Knanaya Catholic Mission ("Mission") are migrants to the United States of America, who were previously members of the Archeparchy of Kottayam, India, an endogamous Archdiocese erected exclusively fo the "Southist" by the Apostolic letter "In Universi Christiani" of His Holiness Pope St. Pius X in 1911 and the satus quo (pro gente suddistica) of which was maintained by His Holiness Pope John Paul II by a sovereign decision in 2003; therefore,
Resolved, That the Rockland Knanaya Catholic Mission will be strictly endogamous in nature as practiced in our parent Diocese, the Archeparchy of Kottayam, India.
Resolved, That all Knanaya Catholics, born of both Knanaya parents and practicing endogamy are eligible to be members of the Mission; members of the Mission who marry individuals who are not born of both Knanaya parents will no longer be considered eligible members of the Mission; although such persons and their families may, however, attend the spiritual services provided by the Mission.
Resolved, That the Mission shall be ecclesiastically administered by upholding our centuries old tradition of endogamy practice.
