KCS San Antonio Rejects Bp Mar Angadiath’s Directive

Dear KCSSA Family Members,

Knanaya Catholic Society of San Antonio (KCSSA) strongly rejects the recent directive from Bishop Mar Jacob Angadiyath regarding the membership within Knanaya Parishes established in the St. Thomas Syro Malabar Diocese of Chicago.

We totally disagree with the Bishop’s decision to allow membership to non Knanaya family members in Knanaya Churches, to safe guard our interest in preserving our identity and tradition, with zero tolerance of our endogamous nature, which has been safe guarded for centuries by our forefathers.

We also support KCCNA EC’s decision to reject the directives and stand by with all their efforts in this matter.
