Dear KCCNA President and other EC Members,
I appreciate your efforts to resolve the crisis in our community after the circular from Chicago Diocese on 20th December 2012, even though the subject matter was under discussion for years. As per KCCNA Constitution Article 2 Section 1 - Aims and objectives: clause (i) says :
"To organize debates, lectures, exhibitions, research works, outdoor entertainments, public meetings, conventions, seminars on matters of interest to community members."
Isn't this crisis a matter of interest to our community members? If so, as stipulated in the Constitution please organize public meetings in protest to the circular, to educate the entire community of the consequences of the circular and to consolidate the community outrage against such undue interference within our rich heritage here in North America.
I request current KCCNA Officials in co-ordination with respective regional Unit Presidents and Executives to conduct peaceful protest meetings in all KCCNA regions as soon as possible. Since KCCNA's current executive team is about to transition within a month, please invite all declared prospective candidates of 2013 KCCNA election as well. So that the new leaders can continue with the revolt you people are currently conducting in order to preserve our Knanaya Tradition here in the US.
With Best Regards,
Stephen Mattathil,
KCCNA Presidential Candidate 2013.
San Antonio.
Tel. 210 300 7784.
