KCCNA Election 2013 - Presidential Candidate's Appeal

Let me first up introduce myself. I am Stephen Joseph Mattathil from San Antonio, Texas contesting for KCCNA presidency 2013-2014 and originally from Uzhavoor Parish. This email is part of my election campaign to reach all KCCNA voters and for an open discussion among Knanaya community about my KCCNA constitution amendment (now resolution) regarding a change in our current election procedures.

Folks, let me give a brief profile of myself:-

Name   - Stephen Joseph Mattathil
Graduation  - University of Kerala
Post Graduation - University of Bombay
Post Graduate Diploma in Management - K.C College Bombay,
LLB (Law) Course completed - J.C Collage of Law,  Vile Parle , Bombay.

My professional career:-

Started as a Lecturer - S.K Somiya College, Bombay
Office Manager - Nyeri Diocen Education Secretary's Office , Kenya
Principal - Murindoko High School , Embu - Kenya
Lecturer - New Indian School, Kuwait
Founding Member - United Indian School, Kuwait
Finance  Officer - Alghanim Industries, Kuwait.

Currently I am pursuing a business in San Antonio and living with my wife, Celine Pattarukuzhy of Koodallor Parish, and three adult children pursuing their studies here in San Antonio. Also, I was one of the General Conveners of FOKANA 15th  International Convention 2012 held at Houston, Texas.

As stated in my vision statement, I am NOT highlighting 'an anticipatory bail' (panel of candidates) or declaration that implies that I will not co-operate with anyone other than from my panel. Instead, I assure you that any Knanayite who will be elected will be in my team and we can work together without any prejudice for the growth and welfare of our community. I do earnestly request more candidates to contest in all positions available in their individual capacity (not in a panel) and let the National Council members have ample choice to select the "right man for the right job."

Let me bring up some KCCNA issues.

Please CLICK HERE to read my vision statement and constitutional amendment proposal which are self explanatory. Please read those attachments and develop your own ideology to better discuss in the first NC meeting, otherwise, there will not be sufficient quorum to discuss such vital issues. If you all agree to the proposal or add any modifications to it after detailed discussions, let us try to implement it for KCCNA election 2015.

Let me also link a blogpost which was circulated online last week. Please CLICK HERE to read the said post. It appears the Post is authored by an experienced Knanayite from US. It implicitly states that KCCNA is/was/and still continues a clandestine operation controlled and driven by backseat drivers, lobbyists, caucuses of sycophants and king makers. If this is true, it is high time to drastically break free KCCNA from these political chains and I am ready to take that challenge.

We need a firm leadership to preserve the identity of our community which is variably polarized. I earnestly request your support and votes to lead our ethnic community in the right direction like numerous similar communities flourishing in North America. We need a change in the right direction to lead our community and to prepare our next generation to meet the challenges ahead.

My dear Knanaya brothers and sisters, believe me if I am elected, I will bring long lasting peace and harmony within our community through fruitful sincere ideologies, with proper legal advice, without compromising our deep-rooted Knanaya Traditions.  Let me once again appeal for your conscious vote to volunteer my services to KCCNA as its president. If we work together, unity becomes strength and success is guaranteed.

Sincerely,
Stephen Mattathil.
