അടുത്ത മത്സരാര്‍ഥി ഹോട്ട് സീറ്റിലെത്തി.
(രേഖാചിത്രം: വര്‍ഷങ്ങളായി ഹൂസ്റ്റണില്‍ സ്ഥിരതാമസം. സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥന്‍. മുന്‍പള്ളിഭാരവാഹി. പള്ളിപണി തടയാന്‍ ശ്രമിച്ചു എന്ന ആരോപണം ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങിയയാള്‍)
കൈ നിറയെ ആധാരക്കെട്ടും ചുമന്നു രംഗപ്രവേശം. സിറ്റിയില്‍ നിന്നും പെര്‍മിറ്റ്‌ കിട്ടിയ കഥ, പിന്നീട് ആ പെര്‍മിറ്റ്‌ പോയ കഥ..... ഈ പുതിയ പള്ളിക്ക് എത്രയോ സാധ്യതകള്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.... ഗുരുജിയ്ക്ക് ഒന്നും അറിയില്ലായിരുന്നു എന്ന് പറയുന്നു. ഞാന്‍ ഒരിക്കല്‍ നമ്മുടെ സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ നിയമോപദേശകയെ കണ്ടപ്പോള്‍ എല്ലാ കാര്യങ്ങളും വിശദീകരിച്ചു വസ്തു ഇടപാടുകാരന് കത്ത് കൊടുത്തിരുന്നു എന്നറിയിച്ചു. അതില്‍ രണ്ട് മൂന്നു മാസങ്ങള്‍ക്കുള്ളില്‍ ഇത് Bankruptcy ഫയല്‍ ചെയ്യുമെന്നും പിന്നീടിത് 1,3 – 1.5 മില്യണ്‍ ഡോളറിനു വാങ്ങാന്‍ സാധിക്കുമെന്നും ഉപദേശിച്ചിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ അവരുടെ വാക്കുകളെ ധിക്കരിച്ചു 2.9 മില്യണ്‍ ഡോളറിനു പള്ളി വാങ്ങിയത് Advocate-നു ഇനിയും വിശ്വസിക്കാനായിട്ടില്ല. സമൂഹത്തിലെ സാധാരണക്കാരുടെ വിയര്‍പ്പിന്റെ വില വെറുതെ കളയുവാന്‍ കൂട്ട് നിന്നത് ശരിയാണോ എന്ന് വസ്തു ഇടപാടുകാരന് സമൂഹത്തെ അറിയിക്കണം എന്നാവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു.
ചോദ്യം തന്റെ നേരെ അല്ലാത്തതിനാല്‍ ഗുരുജി മൌനം പാലിച്ചു കുനിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. അവതാരകന്‍ വസ്തു ഇടപാടുകാരനെ ക്ഷണിച്ചു.
വളരെ വിനയാന്വിതനായി വസ്തു ഇടപാടുകാരന് മൊഴിഞ്ഞു....
എനിക്കെതിരെയുള്ള ആരോപണങ്ങളില്‍ പലതും ചവറാണ്. ചവറുകള്‍ക്ക് മറുപടി പറയുന്നത് എന്റെ നിലയ്ക്കും വിലയ്ക്കും ചേര്‍ന്നതല്ല. It is far below my dignity.
പിന്നീടദ്ദേഹം ലീന്‍, ലോണ്‍, ബയര്‍, സെല്ലര്‍, കോണ്ട്രാക്റ്റ്, എഗ്രിമെന്റ്റ്‌, ടൈറ്റില്‍, കമ്പനി.... തുടങ്ങി ജനത്തിന് മനസ്സിലാകുന്നതും, മനസ്സിലാകാത്തതുമായ പദപ്രയോഗങ്ങളിലൂടെ തന്റെ നിരപരാധിത്വവും സമൂഹത്തോടുള്ള തന്റെ പ്രതിബദ്ധതയും ബോധ്യപ്പെടുത്താന്‍ കുറെയേറെ സമയം ചെലവഴിച്ചു. കാളക്കുട്ടന്മാരുടെ ചിന്നചിന്ന ചോദ്യങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് മറുപടിയും നല്‍കി.
ഒരു കാളക്കുട്ടന്‍:
ഉടന്‍ തന്നെ bankruptcy ഉണ്ടാകും എന്ന കാര്യം നിങ്ങള്‍ ഗുരുജിയില്‍ നിന്ന് മറച്ചുവച്ചു എന്ന് കേള്‍ക്കുന്നത് വാസ്തവമാണോ?
വസ്തു ഇടപാടുകാരന്:
നിയമോപടദേശകയുടെ കത്ത് ഗുരുജിയെ കാണിക്കുകയും വസ്തുതകള്‍ ഗുരുജിയെയും കമ്മറ്റിക്കാരെയും ബോധ്യപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു.

ഇതൊന്നും തനിക്കറിയില്ലായിരുന്നു എന്ന് ഗുരുജി പലരോടും പ്രസ്താവിച്ചതായി കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടോ?

എന്ത് അടിയന്തര സാഹചര്യം? നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഇത്രയും വലിയ ഒരു തുകയുടെ മൂല്യം അറിയുമോ? അദ്ധ്വാനിക്കുന്നവന്റെ കാശിനു ഒരു വിലയും ഇല്ലേ? നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കിത് വെറുതെ കളയുവാനുള്ളതാണോ?
ഗുരുജി: എനിക്ക് മുകളില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള സമ്മര്‍ദ്ദം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. മുകളിലുള്ളവരെ അനുസരിക്കാതിരിക്കാന്‍ എനിക്കാവില്ല. കഴിഞ്ഞ വര്ഷം നടത്തിയ Road Show-യുടെ സമയത്ത് ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് വാക്ക് തന്നിരുന്നു, എല്ലാവരെയും അറിയിച്ചതിനു ശേഷം മാത്രമേ വസ്തു ഇടപാട് നടത്തുകയുള്ളൂ എന്ന്. എന്നാല്‍ എന്റെ വാക്ക് പാലിക്കുവാനുള്ള സമയംപോലും അവര് തന്നില്ല.
ഗുരുജി കൈ മലര്‍ത്തി.
ടെക്സാസിലെ പൊരിചൂടില്‍ തങ്ങള്‍ പണിതുണ്ടാക്കുന്ന 13 – 15 ലക്ഷം ഡോളറിനു പുല്ലുവില കല്‍പ്പിച്ചത് ചിക്കാഗോയിലെ വൈസ്രോയിയും കോട്ടയം ബക്കിങ്ങാം പാലസിലെ അരപ്പട്ടകെട്ടിയ രാജാക്കന്മാരും ആണെന്നുള്ളത് പൊതുജനം വ്യക്തമായി തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞു.

Houston imbroglio has taken the church authorities to a situation more complex than they would like to admit. Normally, there is no transparency in what the churchmen do. Unfortunately, the hooliganism they staged in Houston has become so transparent; even a child knows a priest with the typical arrogance cassocks provides was used as an instrument to divide the people and to loot them. The plan has miserably failed; they now don’t know what to do. If our men and women have any sense left, they should learn from this incident and should realise that these priests and bishops have nothing to do with God. They are all thugs.

Based on the above, yes you have done your duty as a real estate agent. Have you forgotten your duty and responsibility as a member of Houston Knanaya catholic community? You are an ex president of the community. People elected you that time because they thought that you are the one who could protect the interest of the community. Did you forget that? Did you forget your responsibility to your dad who baptized you and raised you as a Knanaya? Did you forget your responsibility to your wife and kids? Shame on you. You only thought about the responsibility of a realtor? Could you tell from your heart that you didn't know that this is NOT the right one for the community and didn;t know that you are paying almost 1.5 ,ill more than the actual worth of the church building? You let the Houston community to get raped in day light. You think that you and your family will enjoy the money that you made out of it?
