കേരള കത്തോലിക്കാ നവീകരണ പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തില്‍ നടത്തിയ ഒരു പത്രസമ്മേളനത്തെതുടര്‍ന്നാണ് മാധ്യമം അവരുടെ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്‌ പ്രസധീകരിച്ചത്. മാറിടം പള്ളിയിലെ അധികൃതര്‍ മാധ്യമം പത്രവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടോ, അവര്‍ എന്തെങ്കിലും തിരുത്തി പ്രസധീകരിച്ചോ എന്ന് ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് കിട്ടിയ മെയിലില്‍ പറയുന്നില്ല.
മാറിടം പള്ളിയില്‍ നിന്ന് മെയില്‍ ലഭിച്ചതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്ന്, ഞങ്ങള്‍ ഇതില്‍ പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന ബാങ്കുമായി (ഫെഡറല്‍ ബാങ്കിന്റെ കിടങ്ങൂര്‍ ശാഖ) ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടു. അവരുടെ മറുപടി ഇതുവരെയും ലഭിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.

ശ്രീ ജോസഫ് ചേരുവേലി എന്നയാള്‍ സ്‌കോളര്‍ഷിപ്പുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് നടത്തിയ ആരോപണങ്ങള്‍ തെറ്റാണെന്നും കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ കുഴപ്പമില്ലാതെ നടക്കുന്നുവെന്നും അവകാശപ്പെടുന്ന കത്തുവായിച്ചു. എന്നാല്‍ ശ്രീ ജോസഫ് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട പ്രകാരം അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പണം മടക്കി നല്‍കുന്നതിനുള്ള തടസമെന്താണെന്നു മാത്രം അതില്‍ പരാമര്‍ശിക്കുന്നില്ല.
എന്നെ അറിയുമായിരുന്ന ടിയാന്റെ ആവശ്യപ്രകാരം ഈ വിഷയത്തില്‍ ഞാന്‍ ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. 88 വയസുകഴിഞ്ഞ അദ്ദേഹം ഒരനാഥാലയത്തിലാണ് ഇപ്പോള്‍ കഴിയുന്നത്. പ്രായാധിക്യവും രോഗപീഢകളും മൂലം യാത്ര ചെയ്യാന്‍ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുള്ള അദ്ദേഹം സംഘടനയുടെ സഹായം അഭ്യര്‍ഥിച്ചു. പുരോഹിതസ്വഭാവവും സാമ്പത്തിക ഗുണ്ടാസംവിധാനങ്ങളും അറിയില്ലെ? (കത്തോലിക്കാസഭയുടെ കൊള്ളയും കൊലയും തെമ്മാടിത്തങ്ങളും തട്ടിപ്പുകളും വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്ന “പാപ്പാസാമ്രാജ്യം തകര്‍ച്ചയിലേക്കോ?” എന്ന ഗ്രന്ഥം ഇദ്ദേഹം എഴുതി പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഈ പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങള്‍ക്കെല്ലാം കാരണം അതാണെന്നാണ് എന്റെ വിശ്വാസം.)
“150 രൂപ ശമ്പളമുള്ള അടുക്കളക്കാരിക്കു 20 ലക്ഷം ഫീസു വാങ്ങുന്ന വക്കീലിനെവെച്ചു വാദിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ നമ്മള്‍ക്കു സാധിക്കുമോ, ആ പണം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് സ്വസ്ഥമായി മരിച്ചുകൂടെ” എന്നൊക്കെ ഞാന്‍ ചോദിച്ചെങ്കിലും ഒടുവില്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ നിര്‍ബന്ധത്തെത്തുടര്‍ന്ന് സഹായിക്കാമെന്ന് സമ്മതിച്ചു.
തുടക്കത്തില്‍തന്നെ സ്‌കോളര്‍ഷിപ്പുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ വ്യവസ്ഥ അംഗീകരിക്കാന്‍ സഭാധികാരം തയ്യാറായില്ല. ബാങ്കുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടപ്പോഴും തൃപ്തികരമായ നിലയിലല്ല കാര്യങ്ങളെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം പറയുന്നു. ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട രേഖകള്‍ ഞാന്‍ കണ്ട് ബോധ്യപ്പെട്ടു. ഇതില്ലാം ശരിയോ തെറ്റോ ആകട്ടെ, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ഇന്നത്തെ നിലയില്‍ ആ സ്‌കോളര്‍ഷിപ്പ് തുടരാന്‍ താല്‍പര്യമില്ലെന്നും, അതിനാല്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പണം മടക്കിക്കിട്ടണമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം നിലപാടെടുത്തു. ഇതു വ്യക്തമാക്കി ആര്‍ച്ചു ബിഷപ്പ് മാര്‍ മൂലേക്കാട്ടിലിന് നല്കിയ കത്തിന്റെ കോപ്പി അദ്ദേഹം എന്നെ കാണിച്ചു. അതിനു നടപടിയൊ മറുപടി പോലുമോ ഇല്ലാതെ വന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തിലാണ് അദ്ദേഹം വക്കീല്‍ നോട്ടീസയച്ചത്.
അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞതനുസരിച്ച് വക്കീല്‍ റവ. സിറിയക് മറ്റത്തിന്റെ ആളായിട്ടാണ് ഇപ്പോള്‍ ഇടപെടുന്നത്. ഇങ്ങനെ എല്ലാ മാര്‍ഗങ്ങളും അടഞ്ഞതിനെത്തുടര്‍ന്നാണ് അദ്ദേഹം മാധ്യമങ്ങളെ സമീപിക്കുന്നത്. കത്തോലിക്കാ സഭാധികാരികളുടെ സഹജസ്വഭാവമായ ധാര്‍ഷ്ട്യത്തിന്റെ ഫലമായി സഭാനേതൃതവം ഇരന്നു വാങ്ങിയ നാണക്കേടാണ് ഇത്. ഇതിനു പിന്നില്‍ ചില കള്ളക്കളികള്‍ നടക്കുന്നു എന്നതിന്റെ വ്യക്തമായ സൂചനയല്ലേ, വാര്‍ത്ത വന്നതിനെത്തുടര്‍ന്ന്, കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ ടിയാനു വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയതെന്തിനെന്നു ചോദിച്ച് 3 വൈദികരെത്തി ബാങ്കുമാനേജരെ വിരട്ടിയത്. കത്തോലിക്ക പുരോഹിതര്‍ ക്രൈസ്തവരല്ലായെന്നു വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും തെളിയിക്കുകയാണെന്നര്‍ഥം. മാത്രമല്ല അവര്‍ക്ക് ദൈവത്തില്‍ വിശ്വാസമില്ലെന്നും.
ഒരു വ്യക്തി കരാറില്‍ ഏര്‍പ്പെട്ട ശേഷം അതില്‍നിന്നും ന്യായമായ കാരണങ്ങളാല്‍ പിന്മാറുന്നു എന്നറിയിച്ചാല്‍ പിന്നെ മുടന്തന്‍ ന്യായം പറഞ്ഞ് അത് അംഗീകരിക്കാത്തത് അക്രൈസ്തവമെന്നു മാത്രമല്ല, മനുഷ്യത്വരഹിതം തന്നെയാണ്. അതല്ലേ ഇവിടെ സംഭവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്? നേര്‍ച്ചപ്പെട്ടിയില്‍ ഇടുന്ന പണത്തിന്റെ ഗതി തന്നെയാണ് കത്തോലിക്കാ പുരോഹിതരെ ഏല്‍പ്പിക്കുന്ന ഏതു പണത്തിനുമെന്ന് ഈ സംഭവം അടിവരയിടുകയല്ലേ ചെയ്യുന്നത്?
'നാണം കെട്ടും പണം നേടിക്കൊള്‍ക, നാണക്കേടാ പണം നീക്കിക്കൊള്ളും' എന്നതാണോ സഭാധികാരികളുടെയും ന്യായം? അവര്‍ക്ക് അതു ഭൂഷണമായിരിക്കാം പക്ഷേ, സാധാരണ വിശ്വാസികള്‍ ഇവര്‍ക്ക് കുട പിടിക്കണോ? കാലികളെപ്പോലെ നുകം വെയ്ക്കാന്‍ നിന്നുകൊടുത്ത് സ്വയം അടിമകളാകണൊ എന്നു രണ്ടുവട്ടം ചിന്തിക്കൂ!

These are done by the parish as per the direction of the Archyeparchy of Kottayam Decree No. 94/2010 for the " Fr Stephen Padickamyalil Memorial Scholarship" for the top tank student of this (Knanaya) parish for the S.S.L.C. ( 10th Standard).
These documents relating to the said accounts are kept in the parish under the custody of the parish Trustees and the Accountant. These documents and the entries in these accounts are duly entered in the parish accounts and audited and passed by the Parish Council and the `Therattu Pothuyogam ` of S.H. Church Maridom and approved by the Archdiocese of Kottayam.
The beneficiaries of this scholarship and also other scholarships in this parish are selected by the Parish Council and it is clearly announced in the Church publicly.

Is this the same priest who had an affair with a nun when he was in Kumarakom. What did the Bishop do to him after his affair was made open to the public. I guess the bishop may have something to hide, otherwise why is he continuing in our Diocese.?

Remeber few months ago, he asked that people contribute to Agape, instead of buying flowers for the dead.....This is going to continue as long as people behave illiterate.....Why did not Joseph Chetten give this money to a poor person in the first place, instead of giving to the Priest.

ReplyDeleteYes this is the same priest who had an affair with a nurse (not nun), In fact she lived with him at his rectory in Kumarakom. The parishoners caught them red handed. When he was called to the Aramana for investigation this is what he had to say....."If I am being punished for this, I would call a press conference and reveal all the priests affirs, this will not damage me but the whole diocese and Bishops". Scared at this explanation, the Bishop let him go free......
"Lesser evil"......I just heard from online news that a priest in India gave 3 crores to get the position of Bishop? How much Moolakkaadan might have given for his position? He has plenty to hide? Otherwise what this priest did in Kumarakom Pally would not have been repeated. As long as there are innocent victims in our community these people are going to take advantage. The people would have to change.... Maybe the next generation kids will..... and not the pranchis.....

The parish committee headed by Sri C.K Thomas Chittalakattu will take the necessary actions with regard to this matter. We would like to ascertain that there is no irregularities with respect to the "accused" scholarship fund. We have done everything perfectly as per the law of the church. Therefore, we (parish council & pothuyogam) would like to know the intention of the people behind these blackmailing against our church and vicar. We have handed over the clear explanation of C.J Joseph's false allegations with regard to our church and vicar to the Archbishop. We hope that C.J Joseph might have received that from Bishop's house. Since C.J Joseph's Petition was published in the internet, we hope that he will rectify the misunderstandings caused by him according to the explanation given to the Archbishop.
