വടക്കേ അമേരിക്കയില്‍ ക്നാനായ കത്തോലിക്കര്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടിയുള്ള സഭാസംവിധാനങ്ങളെപ്പറ്റി അഭിവന്ദ്യ പിതാവ് അപ്നാ ദേശിലെ ലേഖനത്തിലൂടെ നല്‍കിയ വിശദീകരണങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പ്രതികരണമായിട്ടാണ് ഈ കുറിപ്പ്‌.
1. പിതാവിന്റെ വിശദീകരണങ്ങളുടെ ആദ്യ ഭാഗത്ത് വേദപുസ്തകത്തില ഉറച്ച നമ്മുടെ കൂടിയേറ്റ ചരിത്രം അവസാനിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് ഇങ്ങനെയാണ്. ''അന്നത്തെ കല്‍ദായസഭയില്‍ സ്വവംശവിവാഹനിഷ്ഠ പാലിച്ചിരുന്ന ഒരു സമൂഹത്തെ നയിച്ചു കൊണ്ടു ക്‌നായിത്തോമ്മ കേരളത്തിലേക്കു കുടിയേറ്റം നടത്തി.'' അതായത് സ്വവംശവിവാഹനിഷ്ഠ പാലിക്കാത്തവര്‍ കപ്പലില്‍ വന്നില്ല എന്നു ചുരുക്കം.
2. എന്‍ഡോഗമി പാലിക്കാത്തവരെ ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്തിക്കൊണ്ടുള്ള ക്നാനായ മിഷ്നു പ്രസക്തി ഇല്ല എന്ന് ക്‌നാനായസമൂഹം ഉറച്ചു നിന്നതോടുകൂടി അമേരിക്കയിലെ ക്നാനായ സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ സഭാത്മകവളര്‍ച്ച മുരടിച്ചു പോയി എന്നു പറയുന്നതും ശരിയാണോ? 1964-66 കാലഘട്ടത്തില്‍ ഇതെഴുതുന്ന ആള്‍ അമേരിക്കയില്‍ ഉപരിപഠനം നടത്തുമ്പോള്‍ അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ക്‌നാനായക്കാരുടെ എണ്ണം നൂറില്‍ താഴെ ആയിരുന്നു. 1975-ല്‍ ഒരു സന്ദര്‍ശനത്തിനുപോയപ്പോള്‍ രണ്ടായിരത്തിലധികം ക്‌നാനായക്കാര്‍ അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതായി അറിയാം. രണ്ടായിരാമാണ്ടോടുകൂടി അമേരിയ്ക്കയിലെ ക്‌നാനായക്കാരുടെ എണ്ണം ആറായിരത്തിലധികം വരുമായിരുന്നു. അന്നൊന്നും ക്‌നാനായക്കാരുടെ ആത്മീയവളര്‍ച്ചയ്ക്കു ഒരു തടസ്സവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല. അസ്സോസിയേഷനുകള്‍ ക്‌നാനായക്കാരുടെ സാമൂഹാവശ്യങ്ങളും നിറവേറ്റിയിരുന്നു.
3. അമേരിക്കയില്‍ സിറോ-മലബാര്‍ രൂപത (2001) സ്ഥാപിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ മുതലാണ് അഭിപ്രായവ്യത്യാസങ്ങള്‍ ആരംഭിച്ചത്. രൂപതയുടെ കുഴപ്പമല്ല, പ്രത്യുത കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്തതിലെ തട്ടുകേടാണ് പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങളായി രുപപ്പെട്ടത്. മലബാര്‍ പ്രദേശത്ത് കോട്ടയം രൂപതയുടെ അതിര്‍ത്തി വിപുലീകരിയ്ക്കുന്നതിനു മുന്‍പുതന്നെ പല സ്ഥലത്തും ക്‌നാനായക്കാര്‍ക്കു മാത്രമായി ഇടവകകള്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. രുപതയുടെ അതിര് വടക്കോട്ടും കിഴക്കോട്ടും നീട്ടിയപ്പോള്‍ സിറോ-മലബാര്‍ രൂപതകള്‍ ആ പ്രദേശത്ത് നിലവില്‍ വന്നിട്ടും, ധാരാളം ക്നാനായ ഇടവകള്‍ ഉണ്ടാകുന്നതിനു ഒരു തടസ്സവും ഉണ്ടായില്ല. ഇന്‍ഡ്യയില്‍ സീറോ മലബാര്‍സഭ കോട്ടയം അതിരുപതയുടെ എന്‍ഡോഗമിനിഷ്ഠ സ്വീകരിക്കുകയും, നിഷ്ഠ സ്വീകരിക്കാത്തവര്‍ക്കു ആവശ്യമായ നടപടിക്രമങ്ങള്‍ 1950 മുതല്‍ ആരംഭിക്കുകയും, തുടരുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഇത് അമേരിക്കയിലുള്ള സീറോ മലബാര്‍സഭ അംഗീകരിക്കുന്നില്ല എന്നു പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിടത്താണ് കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ സങ്കീര്‍ണ്ണമായത്. ഇന്‍ഡ്യയില്‍ ഉള്ളത് അമേരിക്കയിലുള്ള അതേ സഭാസമൂഹം സ്വീകരിക്കാത്തത് യുക്തിഭദ്രതയില്ലാത്ത കാര്യമാണ്. ഗള്‍ഫ് നാടുകളിലും, യു. കെ. ഉള്‍പ്പെടെയുള്ള യൂറോപ്യന്‍ രാജ്യങ്ങളിലും അഓസ്ട്രലിയ പോലുള്ള രാജ്യങ്ങളിലും ധാരാളം ക്‌നാനായക്കാര്‍ ജോലി ചെയ്തു ജീവിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. പൊതുവെ അവിടെയൊന്നും ആദ്ധ്യത്മീയ വളര്‍ച്ചയ്‌ക്കോ, സാമൂഹ്യകൂട്ടായ്മക്കോ ഒരു കുറവും ഉള്ളതായി അറിഞ്ഞു കൂടാ. സഭാത്മകവളര്‍ച്ച എന്നു പറയുന്നത് എന്‍ഡോഗമി അംഗീകരിക്കുകയും സ്വീകരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന തരത്തിലാകണം.
4. പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പം പെസഹായ്ക്കു കഴിക്കുന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റി പറയുമ്പോള്‍ ഒരു നിബന്ധന ദൈവം തമ്പുരാന്‍ വയ്ക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ''ഒന്നു മുതല്‍ ഏഴു വരെയുള്ള ദിവസങ്ങളില്‍ ആരെങ്കിലും പുളിച്ച അപ്പം ഭക്ഷിച്ചാല്‍ അവന്‍ ഇസ്രായേലില്‍ നിന്ന് വിച്ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടണം. (പുറപ്പാട് 12/15). ഇസ്രായേലില്‍ ജനിച്ചു പോയവനാണെങ്കിലും നിയമവും നടപടിക്രമങ്ങളും പാലിക്കാതിരുന്നാല്‍ പുറത്തേയ്ക്കു പോകുമെന്നു ചുരുക്കം. അതു തന്നെയാണ് വിവാഹത്തില്‍ സ്വവംശനിഷ്ഠ പാലിക്കാത്തവര്‍ക്കും നേരിടേണ്ടി വരുന്നത്.'
5. റോമിന്റെ നിര്‍ദ്ദേശങ്ങള്‍ ''വിശദമായി'' പഠിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ നമുക്കു പ്രത്യേക ഇടവക സംവിധാനമുണ്ടാക്കുന്നതിന് കുഴപ്പമില്ല എന്നാണ് ഇപ്പോള്‍ പറയുന്നത്. അപ്പോള്‍ ആദ്യത്തെ പഠനം ഉപരിപ്ലവമായിരുന്നോ? നമുക്കു പ്രത്യേക ഇടവകസംവിധാനമുണ്ടാകുമ്പോള്‍ അത് എന്‍ഡോമി അംഗീകരിച്ചു കൊണ്ടാണെന്നു പ്രത്യേകം പറയേണ്ട കാര്യമില്ല. കേരളത്തില്‍ കാലങ്ങളായി തുടരുന്ന എന്‍ഡോമി മുഖമുദ്രയായ ഇടവകള്‍ ആകാമെങ്കില്‍ അമേരിക്കയില്‍ എന്തുകൊണ്ട് ആയിക്കൂടാ. ഇതാണ് പ്രശ്‌നത്തിന്റെ കാതല്‍.
6. “തത്വത്തിലോ പ്രായോഗികതയിലോ ക്‌നാനായക്കാരല്ലാത്തവര്‍ക്ക് ക്നാനായ മിഷനില്‍ അവകാശമില്ല” എന്ന പിതാവിന്റെ ആവര്‍ത്തിച്ചുള്ള വ്യക്തമാക്കലോ, അഭിവന്ദ്യ അങ്ങാടിയാത്തു പിതാവിന്റെ കീഴില്‍ ക്‌നാനായമിഷനും ഇടവകളും സ്ഥാപിതമായതിനുശേഷം എന്‍ഡോഗമി പാലിക്കാത്ത ഒരു ക്നാനായക്കാരന് പോലും അംഗമായി തുടരണമെന്ന് നിര്‍ബന്ധം പിടിച്ചിട്ടില്ല എന്നു ബ. മുത്തേലച്ചന്‍ ഉദാഹരണസഹിതം കണക്കുകള്‍ ഉദ്ധരിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് വ്യക്തമാക്കിയെങ്കിലും '”അഭിവന്ദ്യ അങ്ങാടിയാത്ത് പിതാവില്‍ നിന്നും നേരിട്ടു ഉറപ്പു ലഭിച്ചാല്‍ മാത്രമേ ഇതൊക്കെ അംഗീകരിക്കുകയൊള്ളു” എന്നു KCCNA ഭാരവാഹികള്‍ ശാഠ്യം പിടിച്ചു. അവരുടെ വിസ്സമ്മതം ന്യായികരിക്കാവുന്നതാണ്. തല്‍സ്ഥിതി (satus- quo ) ഡിക്രിയെപ്പറ്റിയുള്ള വിശദീകരണം വേണം.
7. “കോട്ടയം രൂപതയെ സംബന്ധിച്ച അതിപ്രധാനമായ പൊന്തിഫ്രിക്കല്‍ തീരുമാനം” എന്നു വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കുന്ന തല്‍സ്ഥിതി തുടരാനുള്ള നിര്‍ദ്ദേശം അമേരിക്കയിലും ഇന്‍ഡ്യയിലും രണ്ടുതരത്തില്‍ നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്നത് ശരിയാണോ? സ്വവംശവിവാഹനിഷ്ഠപാലിക്കാത്തവര്‍ ഇന്‍ഡ്യയിലും അമേരിക്കയിലുമുണ്ട് അമേരിക്കയിലുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് ആ നിഷ്ഠ ആവശ്യമില്ല എന്നുപറയുന്നത് യുക്തിരഹിതമല്ലെ? ആരോ പറഞ്ഞതു പോലെ അമേരിക്കയില്‍ ചാടിപ്പോയവര്‍ക്ക് ''കൊമ്പുണ്ടോ?'' ജനിച്ചുപോയത് ക്‌നാനായക്കാരനായിട്ടാണെങ്കിലും ജീവിക്കുന്നത് നിയമവും നടപടിക്രമങ്ങളുമനുസരിച്ചല്ലെങ്കില്‍ പുകഞ്ഞകൊള്ളി പുറത്തുതന്നെ. ഒരിക്കല്‍ കൂടി ആവര്‍ത്തിക്കട്ടെ: “ സവംശ വിവാഹ നിഷ്ഠ” പാലിച്ചവരെ മാത്രമേ ക്‌നായിത്തോമ കപ്പലില്‍ കൊണ്ടുവന്നോള്ളു.
8. അമേരിക്കയിലുള്ള ഇടവകകള്‍ക്കു ബാധകമാണെന്നു അംഗീകരിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ഇന്‍ഡ്യയില്‍ ഇതു ബാധകമാകത്തത് നമ്മുടെ ഭാഗ്യം എന്നു പറയുന്നതില്‍ യാതൊരു അര്‍ത്ഥവുമില്ല. യുക്തിഭദ്രമല്ലാത്ത അഭിപ്രായങ്ങളിലും തീരുമാനങ്ങളിലും കുടുങ്ങികിടക്കാതെ യാത്രസംഘം മുന്‍പോട്ടു പോകട്ടെ. ഇവിടുത്തെപ്പോലെ അവിടെയും ആയിരിക്കട്ടെ. അവിടുത്തെപ്പോലെ ഇവിടെ ആവശ്യമില്ല. കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ ഗഹനമായി പഠിച്ച്, നല്ല ഗൃഹപാഠം ചെയ്തിട്ട് അഭിവന്ദ്യ ആലഞ്ചേരിപിതാവിന്റെ മുന്‍പില്‍ ധൈര്യപൂര്‍വ്വം ഈ കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ മനസ്സിലാകും. Frills വച്ച ഭാഷയുടെ ആവശ്യമൊന്നുമില്ല.
ശക്തമായ എതിര്‍പ്പുകളേയും, കുതികാല്‍വെട്ടിനെയും, കോടാലികൈകളുടെ കുതന്ത്രങ്ങളെയും പൊരുതി തോല്‍പ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്, തങ്ങളിലേല്‍പിച്ച പ്രവാചകതുല്യമായ ദൗത്യം ഏറ്റെടുത്തു മുന്‍പോട്ടുനീങ്ങുന്ന K.C.C.N.A എന്ന സംഘടനയെയും അതിന്റെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകരെയും അനുമോദിക്കുകയും അവര്‍ക്ക് ശക്തിപകരുവാന്‍ ഏബ്രഹാം പിതാവു മുതലുള്ള നമ്മുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അനുഗ്രഹം ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ എന്ന് ആശംസിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

2. ക്നാനായ യാക്കോബായ വിഭാഗത്തില്‍ പെട്ട കുറെ പേര്‍ ചേര്‍ന്നു ഒരു പെന്തക്കോസ്തു സമൂഹം ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. അവര്‍ സ്വവംശ വിവാഹനിഷ്ഠ പാലിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്കു മാത്രമാണ് പ്രവേശനം നല്‍കുന്നത്.
3. അമേരിക്കയില്‍ ക്‌നാനായക്കാരുടെ ആത്മീയകാര്യങ്ങള്‍ നോക്കുവാന്‍ നിയോഗിക്കപ്പെട്ടവര്‍ക്ക്, സാധാരണ ഇടവകവികാരിമാര്‍ക്കുള്ള മൂന്നു വര്‍ഷ സേവന കാലവധി നിഷ്‌ക്കര്‍ഷിക്കാത്തതെന്താണ്? പലരുടേയും വേര് അവിടെ ഉറച്ചു പോയത് ആശയകുഴപ്പങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് കാരണമാകുന്നുണ്ടോ എന്ന് സംശയിക്കേണ്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് ബിരുദപഠനതിനു ശേഷം ഞാന്‍ എത്തിപ്പെട്ടത് ഈ വലിയ മനുഷ്യന്റെ കൂടെ ആയിരുന്നു.... അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കീഴില്‍ ജോലി ചെയ്ത കാലം എനിക്ക് ഒരിക്കലും മറക്കാന്‍ ആവില്ല... സ്വന്തം കാര്യങ്ങളേക്കാള്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ ക്നാനായ സമുദായത്തെയും അത്പോലെ കാരിത്താസ്‌ ആശുപത്രിയും സ്നേഹിച്ച ഈ വ്യക്തിത്വം എല്ലാവര്ക്കും മാതൃകയാണ്. എനിക്ക് തോന്നുന്നത് നമ്മുടെ സമുദായത്തിലെ ഒട്ടനവധി എഞ്ചിനീയര്‍ മാരും ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കീഴില്‍ ജോലി ചെയ്തവരാണ്... അതില്‍ അവസാനത്തെ കണ്ണി – ആ ഭാഗ്യവാന്‍ ഞാന്‍ ആണ്. ക്നാനായ സമുദായം ഇന്നത്തെ പ്രതിസന്ധിയില്‍ അങ്ങയുടെ വിലയേറിയ വാക്കുകള്ക്കു കാതോര്ക്കു്ന്നു....

എഞ്ചിനീയർ സർ എന്തൊക്കെയോ മനക്കോട്ടകൾ കെട്ടുന്നു. പൊട്ടക്കണക്കുകളും വസ്തുതകളും നിരത്തി വികാരധീനനായി സംസാരിക്കുന്നു. വംശീയ വികാരം മാത്രം ഉൾക്കൊണ്ടുകൊണ്ട് റോമിന്റെ നിയമങ്ങൾ ശരിക്കും മനസ്സിലാക്കാതെ, വിലാപങ്ങളുടെ തരംഗങ്ങൾ സൃഷ്ട്ടിച്ചെടുക്കുവാൻ മാത്രം ശ്രമിക്കുന്നു. എന്താണ്‌ വസ്തുത? ഈ ആധുനിക യുഗത്തിൽ ക്നാനായ സംസ്കാരത്തിന്റേയും പൈതൃകത്തിന്റേയും അടിത്തറയെന്ത്? ഇതൊന്നും വസ്തുനിഷ്ടമായി, ആധുനിക കാലഘട്ടത്തിന്റെ ശാസ്ത്രസാങ്കേതിക ഉപകരണങ്ങൾ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് പഠിച്ച് മനസ്സിലാക്കാതെ, ‘ഞങ്ങൾ മാത്രം നല്ലത്’ എന്ന ബൂർഷ്വ-യാഥാസ്ഥിതികത്വവുമായി കഴിയുന്ന പൊട്ടക്കിണറ്റിലെ കൂപമണ്ഡൂകങ്ങളുടെ വയക്തിക ആന്മവിലാപങ്ങൾ ആധുനിക ലോകത്ത് വെറും പാഴ്വാക്കുകളാണ്‌. ഒരു നല്ല എഞ്ചിനീയർ ഒരിക്കലും നല്ല ചിന്തകനൊ രാഷ്ട്രമീമാംസകനോ ആയിരിക്കണമെന്നില്ല.

My friends, Knanaya is a word of the oldies. It is dead. It has no future. No KANAs want to come back. But they are trying to correct the system by correcting the bad practice of endogamy. This way all KNANAYAS are saved from the rip off of certain powerful. KNANAYa are mostly ignorant and innocent village people. They had a real life only after migrating to the western countries. They really don't understand what is going on. They need to be saved. Only KANA can save them. Only KANA can uplift them. This is part of that process. And GOD said they will be saved.

None can be trusted. Blog is serviced by Babllos and Karakkaadans. They are both in some way related to Muthu. Ignoring their comments is the best way to go. Just forget about them, they will always support Muthus non endogamous policies.

ReplyDeleteI would like to make it clear here (those who don't believe this are welcome to do so) that though I too am from Kaipuzha, I am clueless about this "Kaipuzhakkaran." Anybody who knows Kaipuzha will know that it is a populous village and there all varieties of people there.
I don't agree with at least some of the views of this gentleman, but do respect his liberty to have his own views. But since he admits he is ashamed to say that he is a Kna, I wonder why he takes such active part in a Knanaya discussion forum. There are several Knas (including me)who are not ashamed of being Knas. Kaipuzhakkaran should consider leaving us alone.

Being born at Kaipuzha, I have all the rights to participate in this Forum. Kaipuzha has only Knanaya Catholics; no other Christians. DeleteYou need t understand Kottayam Diocese is part of Syro Malabar. Syro Malabar in anyway is not part of Kottayam diocese. Kottayam Diocese is obliged to follow the rules of Syro malabar and Rome. Knanaya must not be in two different boats. Just follow what Rome and Syro Malabar says. There is no point in shout and yell. If you do not like it, just get out.
