വിവാഹിതനായ വികാരിയെ പുറത്താക്കി
കുറുപ്പന്തറ: ഇടവക വികാരിയായി സേവനം അനുഷ്‌ഠിക്കുന്നതിനിടയില്‍ രഹസ്യമായി വിവാഹം കഴിച്ച വൈദികനെ തിരുവസ്‌ത്രം അഴിപ്പിച്ച്‌ പുറത്താക്കി.
മേമ്മുറിക്കു സമീപമുള്ള പള്ളിയിലെ വൈദികനാണ്‌ കുടുംബജീവിതവും ദേവാലയ ശുശ്രൂഷയും ഒരുമിച്ച്‌ നടത്തി വന്നിരുന്നത്‌.
ഉന്നത ബിരുദധാരിയായ ഇദ്ദേഹം പട്ടം സ്വീകരിച്ച ശേഷം പഠനത്തിനായി പോയപ്പോള്‍ സഹപാഠിയായിരുന്ന കാഞ്ഞിരപ്പള്ളി സ്വദേശിനിയെ രഹസ്യമായി രജിസ്‌റ്റര്‍ വിവാഹം ചെയ്യുകയായിരുന്നു.
രണ്ടു വര്‍ഷംമുമ്പായിരുന്നു വിവാഹം. ഇതിനിടയില്‍ വൈദികന്‍ വിദേശത്തേയ്‌ക്കു പോയേക്കുമെന്നു ഭയപ്പട്ട യുവതിയുടെ വീട്ടുകാര്‍ അരമനയില്‍ വിവാഹ രജിസ്‌ട്രേഷന്‍ സര്‍ട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റടക്കം ഹാജരാക്കി പരാതിപ്പെട്ടു. തുടര്‍ന്ന്‌ വികാരിയെ അരമനയിലേക്ക്‌ വിളിപ്പിച്ച്‌ അധികൃതര്‍ കാര്യം തിരക്കിയെങ്കിലും ആദ്യം വിവാഹക്കാര്യം സമ്മതിച്ചില്ല. പിന്നീടു സര്‍ട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റുകളും രേഖകളും അരമന അധികൃതര്‍ കാണിച്ചതോടെ വൈദികന്‍ തെറ്റുസമ്മതിച്ചു.
തുടര്‍ന്ന്‌ അധികൃതര്‍ ളോഹ ഊരിവയ്‌പ്പിച്ച്‌ വൈദികനുമായി പള്ളിയിലെത്തി.
വൈദികന്‍ ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്ന മുറി പൂട്ടി പള്ളിയില്‍നിന്നു പുറത്താക്കി. സമീപത്തെ മറ്റൊരു പള്ളിയിലെ സഹവികാരിക്കാണ്‌ ഇപ്പോള്‍ പള്ളിയുടെ ചാര്‍ജ്‌.
മലബാര്‍ സ്വദേശിയാണ്‌ പുറത്താക്കപ്പെട്ട വൈദികന്‍.

Before the arrivls of Portugeese, our priests had the right for marriage. Its better them to be married than many Abhaya cases and artificial virginity.

ReplyDeleteIf there is no other complaints about this priest, he must have permitted to continue in priesthood. Many priests r threat for our sisters. This priest opted a better way. Perhaps he can lead us to Knanaya Jacobites. He can continue his priesthood and we can continue our endogamy.

DeleteWhy Catholic church (laity and Clergy) protecting priest and nuns who commit adultery,Child abuse and homosexuallity? Everybody knows about majority of them are in this line.Why a married priest cannot remain as a priest in Catholic Church.Did Christ ask this hypocrites to be unmarried? I feel pity on the priest who is been expelled?

ReplyDeleteIt is heard that Fr.Jacob Vellian have wife and children in America and everybody knows about it now. What is his status? Is he expelled from the priesthood,or because the matter is in Ameri'Ka'
ReplyDeleteKottayam diocese cannot take any action their?.But Poor kerala priest has been expelled based on Catholic church law.So kottayam diocese cannot show any doublestandard to two priest. If marriage and illegal affairs are not allowed to priest,Fr.jacob vellian should also be expelled.
Fr. Vellian only sexually molested kids. Is that a sin? Is he still practicing? Angady said in front of the then IKCCNA President, Kottor that Knas in America cannot practice endogamy. All the stupid leaders were listening. Where money is there is power. Where power is there is corruption. Remember, at the end it is your wife’s hard earned money!
ReplyDeleteI was talking to a friend who is a hindu celebate, he told me that he is surprised how catholic priest keep their celibacy among-st all the mundane attractions and temptations. It is nearly impossible to keep celibacy if one does not lead a life in an atmosphere conducive for lifestyle. most priests are after all luxuries, food habits(mostly non vegetarian)and the environment or society they interact with. Most people are aware of it and they close their eyes towards this truth.Priests are no different than other laity. LET PRIESTS MARRY AND PRAY FOR US. IT WILL WORK IF THERE IS GOD. JOS
ReplyDeletewhy lament,do laity have any right to impose celibacy on priests?its common sense;they are far from the principles, they are no more disciples of jesus,but masters of jesus, priests and bishops are after luxury, they EAT, they DRINK and why not some sex.2 adults having sex with mutual consent is normal and legal but sex with a minor is illegal and crime. be it vellian or kunnassery no exception. knas know all these and they are after colors, they provide liquor for priests.
