For Gandhi jayanti we keep Mahatma Gandhis picture in the middle, For St.Marys feast we keep Mother Mary in the middle, for Christmas we keep infant Jesus picture or statue in the center. Similarly for Mothers day you need to honor them ON STAGE during the INAUGURATION ceremony. Not after the men have acheived their self glory then show a picture of 400 mothers sitting in the chairs. what use is that picture?? What reason for not having any mother on stage during the lighting?
Wow what a suggestion, like a cinema viewer telling the story to the director, A viewer in the gallery instructing the player how to play, Now the organizers of mothers day has to consult above commentor, how to organize their program. My friend its their freedom to organize the way they want, and there is no any written rules like you suggest how a mothers day should be. If you didn't like just forgive them. The first mothers day was organised by never mother Anna Jarvis, in honor of her deceased mother in a methodist church and later it was commercialized and people celebrate, churches, clubs, work places or where ever they want, adding gifts and games to the occasion. Americans never light a lamp to inaugurate, should that mean Indians should not do? Its our way of celebrating, whether you like it or not.

this program was organised by mens ministry of the church.mens ministry cordinators and the trustees are on the stage.mothers are recognised just before that.400 mothers recognised.that picture also published.after the inauguration a game was organised for mothers.the mothers recognised their too. during the inauguration everybody is singing our traditional song marthomman.thats why their mouth look open.
What a reasoning!!!. if they had little sense, they would have posted a picture of the so called "400 mothers recognised". This is just to show off and to get their photos to be posted and to show the world that they are somebody in the community. We pity you guys. You are a shame to the community. They could hold have hold muthu's butts also and would be more famous by posting a photo like that. You guys are a shame to the community and your family.
