കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷന്‍ അടിപൊളി!
ഹോശാനദിവസം യേശു കയറിയ കഴുത കരുതികാണണം തനിക്കാണ് ജനം സ്വീകരണം നല്‍കിയതെന്ന്. ഇതുപോലെ ആണ് നമ്മുടെ കോട്ടയത്തെ മെത്രാന്മാരും. അത്മായരുടെ കൂട്ടായ്മകളും കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷനും ഒക്കെ വിജയിക്കുന്നത് അവരുടെ മഹാസാന്നിധ്യം കൊണ്ട് മാത്രമാണെന്ന് അവര്‍ ധരിച്ചുവശായി. തങ്ങള്‍ വന്നില്ലെങ്കില്‍ കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷന്‍ നടക്കില്ല എന്നുവരെ അവര്‍ തെറ്റിദ്ധരിച്ചു.
എന്നാല്‍, യേശുവിനെ വഹിച്ച കഴുതയുടെ സ്ഥാനമേ അവര്‍ക്കുള്ളൂ എന്ന് ഇത്തവണ ജനം സംശയാതീതമായ്‌ തെളിയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അവര്‍ അത് ഇനിയെങ്കിലും ഉള്‍ക്കൊണ്ടാല്‍ അവര്‍ക്ക് നല്ലത്! കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷന്‍ ദിവസം രാവിലെ പോലും ചിങ്ങവനം തിരുമേനിയെ പിന്തിരിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ വിഫലശ്രമം വീണ്ടും ഉണ്ടായി. എന്തൊരു പക, അത് സ്വന്തം മക്കളോട്!
ഒളിഞ്ഞും തെളിഞ്ഞും പാരപണി നടത്തിയ അച്ചന്മാരും അവരുടെ കഞ്ഞിവെപ്പുകാരും ഇന്ന് ആകെ വെപ്രാളത്തിലാണ്. എന്തിന്, കോട്ടയത്തെ മെത്രാന്‍ പോലും വീഡിയോഗെയിം മാറ്റി വെച്ച് കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷന്‍ ലൈവ് ആയി കാണുന്നു. അപ്പന്‍ മാറി നിന്നപ്പോള്‍ ആ സ്ഥാനം അകന്ന ബന്ധു ഏറ്റെടുത്തു.
തങ്ങള്‍ക്കു കിട്ടിയ പാരമ്പര്യം ഒരുതരത്തിലും കളഞ്ഞു കുളിക്കില്ല എന്ന് അമേരിക്കന്‍ ക്നാനായമക്കള്‍ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു. “കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷന്‍ കൂടരുത്” എന്ന ആഹ്വാനവുമായി ഓടിനടന്ന പത്രക്കാരും നേതാക്കാരും അവസാനം പാഞ്ഞെത്തി. പണ്ട്, അമ്പതുകളിലും അറുപതുകളിലും ഒക്കെ, സിനിമ കാണുന്നത് സത്യക്രിസ്ത്യാനിക്ക് ചേര്‍ന്നതല്ല എന്ന് പള്ളികളില്‍ പ്രസംഗിച്ചിരുന്ന അന്നത്തെ വൈദികരില്‍ ചിലര്‍ ആരും കാണാതെ സെക്കന്‍ഡ്‌ഷോയ്ക്ക് പോകുമായിരുന്നു. അതുപോലെ, ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്ത പുംഗവന്മാരില്‍ പലരും കുശാലായി കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷന്‍ കൂടുന്നു..... പാവം അവരുടെ വാക്ക് കേട്ടിരുന്ന വിശ്വാസി കൊതിയും കുത്തി ഇപ്പോള്‍ വീട്ടില്‍ ഇരുപ്പുമായി. താനാണ് ക്നാനായം എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു നടന്ന മുത്തുകുട്ടനും മാറി നിന്നു. പക്ഷെ കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞ വര്‍ഷങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നും കൂടുതല്‍ മെച്ചം ആയിപോകുന്നു.
വള്ളംകളിയും റീമി ടോമി നയിച്ച ഗാനമേളയും അടിപൊളി ആയി. ചിക്കാഗോയിലെ കുപ്രസിദ്ധമായ "കെ.കെ." ഗ്രൂപ്പില്ലാഞ്ഞിട്ടാണോ എന്തോ ഹെന്നെസി അടിച്ചു കരക്ക്‌ നീന്തല്‍ പഠിക്കുന്നവരെ കണ്ടില്ല. അതും ഒരു പുതിയ അനുഭവം ആയി.
കൂടാരയോഗങ്ങള്‍ നടത്തി പുതുതലമുറയെ തങ്ങളുടെ വഴിയെ കൊണ്ടുവരാം എന്ന ചിലരുടെ കുരുട്ടുബുദ്ധി നടക്കില്ലെന്നും അന്മായരുടെ കരുത്ത് തകര്‍ക്കാന്‍ പറ്റില്ലെന്നും കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷന്‍ തെളിയിച്ചു. ചിലരുടെ ഒക്കെ വാക്ക്കേട്ട് കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷന്‍ കൂടാതെ മാറി നിന്ന സഹോദരങ്ങളെ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കും മക്കള്‍ക്കും ഹാ കഷ്ടം!

Hello Kariakutty, no words to appreciate the KCCNA and the Knanaya Makkal of North America. We should discourage these Kottayam Bishops and their priests visiting USA again. We don't need their supports. Knanaya Jacoba Thirumenies are far better than Kottayam Bishops and these Thirumenies are always helpful when we are in need.

ReplyDeleteWe should look down on the people who BOYCOTTED this convention. They are just ego centric power hungry politicians ready to sell their tharavadu.
i would say it was a blessing in disguise that the ktm bishops didnt attend the convention.the convention was a great success but not financially,lot of people have to sacrifice and go out of their to help,HOWEVER,do you think the bishops will have the courtesy or humility to fly in a second class and both bishops stay in the same ordinary room and FORGO their TIP because it was running on LOSS, just do an average calculation,2 first class tickets, suit rooms,special foods,tickets for local trips,TIPS,contributions by BELIEVERS for their 'HOLY VISITS' ETC ETC.. YOU NAME IT. foremost, no participant was upset because bishop/s didn't participate.I think the attended bishops were more approachable, nicer,handsome and better adorned. if the believers think that bishop's mass is better than a priest's mass or many priests mass is better than a single priest mass, trust me some do think... at least for the future this is an eye opener, please please dont bring expensive decorated and inflated "jaadas" from overseas for the sake of people. We dont want it. If the bishop is KCCNA president's or convention chairman's 'machaan' thats a different story. please dont abuse our money on them.WE AFFIRM THAT WE DO NOT NEED THEM IN THE CONVENTION.

that what,s happen to our Biships.Now one thing is clear Bishop Angadiyath is their suprime authority, I highly doubt about the declaration of Bishop Mulakat at chicago? I don,t think angadiyath accept that concept. The examble is the volly ball tournement cancelled in chicago. This is the time to open our eyes and find the facts. thanks
Why doubt that Angadiath or the Catholic church will accept the Moolakkat formula? It will never happen and they cannot. Why because with christian marriage, man and wife becomes one body. Then how could the church separate them into KANA and other SM parishes? Why Angadiath allowed membership to the non-kna son of a KANA in the volleyball team of a knanaya parish?!
