Congratulations to Tampa!

From the bottom of our heart, each and every community loving Knananite want to express our gratitude and  appreciation for providing us with one of the best Conventions in the history of KCCNA. A superbly organized convention, with absolutely no security incident.  Each and every sub-committee performed their assigned task with skill, professionalism and conviction.

Our brothers and sisters in Tampa proved that they believe in results, not in stage dramatics. The Tampa community is the hero. It is the hundreds of volunteers who worked so hard, tirelessly, enduring numerous sleepless nights, continuously. There is no doubt that some in the KCCNA executive committee also worked extremely hard, and without any payback intentions. We salute each and every one who selflessly spent so much of their time and energy, for providing us, your community compatriots, the privilege of participating in an extremely memorable family get-together.  In one word, we had a wonderful time.

The 2012  Convention was special in that from the very beginning, KCCNA experienced tremendous amount of challenges. Commencing from the Chicago venue fiasco, and culminating with the bishops' boycott, our bi-annual get together faced seemingly insurmountable roadblocks and "paaraas." The plethora of vicious and negative campaign, not only initiated by the very highest individuals  in our hierarchical order, but also blessed and actively promoted by them, was designed to teach the non-conforming "Almayar" (which loosely means illiterate bunch), a lesson. The ferocious and nasty intimidation tactics of these sadists were almost successful, if it were not for the vigilance of KCCNA executive committee led by Dr. Shiens Akasala,  Tampa executive committee led by Jose Uppottil, and the convention chair, James Illickal.

It is in this backdrop one looks at this convention and conclude "what a superb job". "adipoli". To many, the great time we had due to the commendable organizational superiority of the convention is the end result, however, in my view, it is a lot more than that. The very existence of KCCNA, as an independent, vibrant community organization was at stake. Tampa, you crushed the evil forces who were bent upon destroying the organization and community. This outcome is a lot more fundamental with long term consequences, than everything else.

Migration of Knanayaites from Jerusalem to Edessa.

Dear all,

You will recall that I had intended to join in a tour of Israel led by renowned Archaeologist and historian, Dr. Robert Eisenman. Dr. Eisenman has done an excellent study on ancient records regarding the Essenes, the Zealots and the Nazarenes that he has come so close to discovering the origins of the Knanaya community from ancient sources.

I have had the opportunity to entertain Dr. Eisenman twice in Kerala in 2008 and 2010. During both these tours, we had the opportunity to discuss at length the Knanaya history and heritage in Kerala. It was under these circumstances that when I saw that Dr. Eisenman was leading a team to explain the historical locations in Israel regarding the Essenes and Zealots, I did not want to lose this opportunity. 

Unfortunately, due to the Knanaya (Jacobites) Association elections and the legal wrangles associated with it in which I was too deeply committed, I could not keep up with the planned schedule. Nevertheless, under the strong persuasion of Anita Pratap, Dr. Eisenman has agreed to conduct the tour to Israel in Jan 2013 in a package tailor-made to suit the interest of the Knanaya community.

From Jan 14-17, the stay will be at Dan Jerusalem Hotel near Mt. of Olives. During this stay, we will be visiting the many places in Jerusalem including the famed Jerusalem Museum which houses the legendary Dead Sea Scrolls, tomb of the Edessene Queen Helena, the wife of King Abgar of Edessa, tomb of James the Just, and the place where the Jews attacked Paul, Tomb of David, via Dolorosa, Upper Room, and other places of interest.

Jan 18th to 20th, we will be camping at the Biblical Tamar Park in Arad in the Negev desert. Tamar was built on the ancient spice route, located about 45 miles south of the Dead Sea on the road to Eilat.  Tamar is located in the Wilderness of Zin, in the Arava corridor (below sea level) on the eastern side, of the Negev Desert.  Tamar lay in ruins after the earthquakes, covered by the desert sands, until the recent excavations.  Tamar is being uncovered by layers and displayed as a living history lesson and as a tribute to the true and living God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, as well as Moses, King Solomon and Josiah.  We will explore the regions around Tamar such as the Masada Caves, Qumran, Ein gedi, the ancient copper mines of King Solomon at Timna, take a dip in the Red Sea and the Dead Sea where the Romans threw their captives to see if they will drown in the fabled Dead Sea where nothing sinks.

Indian Church needs some urgent media skills

Three different media incursions have undermined the good will the Church enjoys among the public.

The Catholic Church in India is badly in need of lessons in media management.

In the recent past, three different media incursions have undermined the good will the Church enjoys among the public. The Church’s response to the media continues to be inadequate.

The First one is Sr. Abhaya, a young nun who was brutally murdered in her convent premises in 1992. She keeps popping up in the media every other week for all the wrong reasons.

The Church’s reaction has been knee jerk, unplanned, unconvincing and almost always counter productive. This is also a case where the hierarchy has taken a back seat and pushes a lay person forward to respond to the media. No one knows where the hierarchy stands on this case.

You cannot fight media with passion. You cannot get away with attributing motives to every writer and every media house more so when the source of information is the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) or the High Court.

You need to fight misinformation with facts. There is no point in threatening people with legal action or defamation. Where legation action is appropriate, the people affected go ahead and issue the legal notices and file the cases and then let media know. We cannot go too far with playing on the word Lousy or Lucy.

The CBI is not infallible. In fact CBI had blundered and contradicted itself many times over in this case. The best place to face CBI is the courts and not the media. Sr Abhaya’ case can only be fought in the judiciary and no where else.

The world has forgotten it is the sisters themselves who asked for CBI enquiry in the first place.

It is time the hierarchy in Kerala and India took charge and made policy direction on this case and saw this case through, defending those who deserved legal defense and ensuring justice prevailed.

പാര്ട്ടിയും സഭയും

ആധുനികപൂര്‍വമായ സംഘപ്രത്യയശാസ്ത്രത്തെ, ആധാരമാക്കുന്ന കമ്യൂണിസ്റ്റ് പാര്‍ട്ടിയുടെ സംഘടനാസംവിധാനം ഏതാണ്ട് കത്തോലിക്കാസഭയുടേതിന് സമാനമാണ്. മനുഷ്യന്‍ ജന്മനാ പാപിയായതിനാല്‍, വിശ്വാസികളുടെ പാപമോചനം സഭയിലൂടെ മാത്രമാണെന്നു സഭ പ്രചരിപ്പിച്ചു. പാപമോചനത്തിന്റെ വഴിയില്‍ വ്യക്തിപരമായ ചിന്തയേ്ക്കാ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിനോ സ്ഥാനമില്ല. ദൈവകൃപ മാത്രമാണ് പാപമോചനത്തിനുള്ള ഏകമാര്‍ഗം. സഭയിലൂടെ മാത്രമേ വിശ്വാസികള്‍ക്ക് ദൈവകൃപ ലഭിക്കുകയുള്ളൂ. സഭാമേധാവിയായ പോപ്പ് ഭൂമിയിലെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പ്രതിനിധിയായി സ്വയം അവരോധിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. ദൈവം സഭയായും സഭ പോപ്പായും മാറി. ചക്രവര്‍ത്തിമാരെ വാഴിക്കാനും സ്ഥാനഭ്രംശം ചെയ്യാനും കഴിയുന്ന പോപ്പ്, ഫലത്തില്‍,ആത്മീയ-ഭൗതികാധികാരകേന്ദ്രമായി മാറുകയാണുണ്ടായത്.

കമ്യൂണിസ്റ്റ് പാര്‍ട്ടി തിരുസഭയെയും സെക്രട്ടറി പോപ്പിനെയുമാണ് മാതൃകയാക്കുന്നത്. വിശ്വാസികള്‍ തിരുസഭയിലും പോപ്പിലും സ്വയം സമര്‍പ്പിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ, ഓരോ കമ്യൂണിസ്റ്റുകാരനും പാര്‍ട്ടിയിലും സെക്രട്ടറിയിലും സ്വയം അര്‍പ്പിക്കുന്നു. ഒരു ക്രൈസ്തവന്റെ ക്രൈസ്തവതയെ നിര്‍ണയിക്കുന്നത്, അയാളുടെ വ്യക്തിഗതമായ വിശ്വാസമല്ല, സഭാനിയമങ്ങളോടുള്ള അനുസരണയും പോപ്പിനോടുള്ള ഭക്തിയുമാണ്. ബൈബിളില്‍ വിശ്വസിച്ചാലും സഭാനിയമങ്ങള്‍ ലംഘിച്ചാല്‍ ഒരാള്‍ക്ക് ഔദ്യോഗികമായി കത്തോലിക്കാ ക്രിസ്ത്യാനിയായി തുടരാനാവില്ല. കത്തോലിക്കാസഭയുടെ കുറ്റവിചാരണയ്ക്ക് ഇരയാക്കപ്പെട്ടവരില്‍ അധികംപേരുടെയും കുറ്റം ബൈബിള്‍ വിമര്‍ശനമായിരുന്നില്ല. സഭാനിയമലംഘനവും പോപ്പിന്റെ അധികാരത്തോടുള്ള സമ്പൂര്‍ണവിധേയത്വമില്ലായ്മയുമായിരുന്നു, 'ഇന്‍ക്വസിഷന്‍ എന്ന മതവിചാരണ സമ്പ്രദായം ആരംഭിക്കാന്‍'സഭാചരിത്രത്തിലെ എക്കാലത്തെയും വലിയ വിവാദ വ്യക്തിയായിരുന്ന ഇന്നസെന്റ് മൂന്നാമന്‍ പോപ്പിനെ പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ചത്. ഇന്നസെന്റ് മൂന്നാമന്റെ ശരീരഭാഷയാണ് ലക്ഷണമൊത്ത പാര്‍ട്ടി സെക്രട്ടറിയിലൂടെ പുനരുത്പാദിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്. സഭാനിഷേധികളെ ഉന്മൂലനം ചെയ്യുകയെന്നത് തന്റെ ആത്മീയദൗത്യമാണെന്ന് പ്രചരിപ്പിച്ച ഇന്നസെന്റ് മൂന്നാമന്റെ മുഖഭാവം എപ്പോഴും അക്ഷോഭ്യവും വികാരശൂന്യവുമായ നിശ്ചയദാര്‍ഢ്യത്തിന്റെതായിരുന്നു.

പാര്‍ട്ടിയോട് അന്ധമായ കൂറും ആത്മാര്‍ഥതയും പുലര്‍ത്തുന്ന കമ്യൂണിസ്റ്റുകാരുടെ മനോഘടന സഭാവിശ്വാസിയുടേതുതന്നെയാണ്. പാര്‍ട്ടിയിലും സെക്രട്ടറിയിലും വിശ്വാസമര്‍പ്പിക്കുന്ന ശരാശരി കമ്യൂണിസ്റ്റുകാര്‍ സ്വതന്ത്രചിന്ത, വിമര്‍ശനം, വായന, പഠനം തുടങ്ങിയ 'ഭാരങ്ങ'ളില്‍നിന്നു മുക്തിനേടുകയാണ് ചെയ്യുന്നത്. സി.പി.എമ്മിലെ ലക്ഷക്കണക്കിന് അണികള്‍ക്കുവേണ്ടി വായിക്കാനും പഠിക്കാനും ചിന്തിക്കാനും അണികള്‍തന്നെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത ഒരു സെക്രട്ടറിയായിരുന്നു ഇ.എം.എസ്. എന്നാല്‍, പാര്‍ട്ടി വലിയ സാമ്പത്തികസാമ്രാജ്യം കെട്ടിപ്പൊക്കിയതോടെ വായനയും ചിന്തയുമൊന്നും അതിനാവശ്യമില്ലാതെയായി.

“51 വെട്ടിന്റെ രാഷ്ട്രീയം”  എന്ന പുസ്തകത്തിലെ 'നീ പാര്‍ട്ടിയാകുന്നു, പാര്‍ട്ടി, സെക്രട്ടറിയാകുന്നു'എന്ന അധ്യായത്തില്‍ നിന്ന്.

കമ്യൂണിസ്റ്റ് പാര്‍ട്ടി തിരുസഭയെയും സെക്രട്ടറി പോപ്പിനെയുമാണ് മാതൃകയാക്കുന്നത്. വിശ്വാസികള്‍ തിരുസഭയിലും പോപ്പിലും സ്വയം സമര്‍പ്പിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ, ഓരോ കമ്യൂണിസ്റ്റുകാരനും പാര്‍ട്ടിയിലും സെക്രട്ടറിയിലും സ്വയം അര്‍പ്പിക്കുന്നു. ഒരു ക്രൈസ്തവന്റെ ക്രൈസ്തവതയെ നിര്‍ണയിക്കുന്നത്, അയാളുടെ വ്യക്തിഗതമായ വിശ്വാസമല്ല, സഭാനിയമങ്ങളോടുള്ള അനുസരണയും പോപ്പിനോടുള്ള ഭക്തിയുമാണ്. ബൈബിളില്‍ വിശ്വസിച്ചാലും സഭാനിയമങ്ങള്‍ ലംഘിച്ചാല്‍ ഒരാള്‍ക്ക് ഔദ്യോഗികമായി കത്തോലിക്കാ ക്രിസ്ത്യാനിയായി തുടരാനാവില്ല. കത്തോലിക്കാസഭയുടെ കുറ്റവിചാരണയ്ക്ക് ഇരയാക്കപ്പെട്ടവരില്‍ അധികംപേരുടെയും കുറ്റം ബൈബിള്‍ വിമര്‍ശനമായിരുന്നില്ല. സഭാനിയമലംഘനവും പോപ്പിന്റെ അധികാരത്തോടുള്ള സമ്പൂര്‍ണവിധേയത്വമില്ലായ്മയുമായിരുന്നു, 'ഇന്‍ക്വസിഷന്‍ എന്ന മതവിചാരണ സമ്പ്രദായം ആരംഭിക്കാന്‍'സഭാചരിത്രത്തിലെ എക്കാലത്തെയും വലിയ വിവാദ വ്യക്തിയായിരുന്ന ഇന്നസെന്റ് മൂന്നാമന്‍ പോപ്പിനെ പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ചത്. ഇന്നസെന്റ് മൂന്നാമന്റെ ശരീരഭാഷയാണ് ലക്ഷണമൊത്ത പാര്‍ട്ടി സെക്രട്ടറിയിലൂടെ പുനരുത്പാദിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്. സഭാനിഷേധികളെ ഉന്മൂലനം ചെയ്യുകയെന്നത് തന്റെ ആത്മീയദൗത്യമാണെന്ന് പ്രചരിപ്പിച്ച ഇന്നസെന്റ് മൂന്നാമന്റെ മുഖഭാവം എപ്പോഴും അക്ഷോഭ്യവും വികാരശൂന്യവുമായ നിശ്ചയദാര്‍ഢ്യത്തിന്റെതായിരുന്നു.

പാര്‍ട്ടിയോട് അന്ധമായ കൂറും ആത്മാര്‍ഥതയും പുലര്‍ത്തുന്ന കമ്യൂണിസ്റ്റുകാരുടെ മനോഘടന സഭാവിശ്വാസിയുടേതുതന്നെയാണ്. പാര്‍ട്ടിയിലും സെക്രട്ടറിയിലും വിശ്വാസമര്‍പ്പിക്കുന്ന ശരാശരി കമ്യൂണിസ്റ്റുകാര്‍ സ്വതന്ത്രചിന്ത, വിമര്‍ശനം, വായന, പഠനം തുടങ്ങിയ 'ഭാരങ്ങ'ളില്‍നിന്നു മുക്തിനേടുകയാണ് ചെയ്യുന്നത്. സി.പി.എമ്മിലെ ലക്ഷക്കണക്കിന് അണികള്‍ക്കുവേണ്ടി വായിക്കാനും പഠിക്കാനും ചിന്തിക്കാനും അണികള്‍തന്നെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത ഒരു സെക്രട്ടറിയായിരുന്നു ഇ.എം.എസ്. എന്നാല്‍, പാര്‍ട്ടി വലിയ സാമ്പത്തികസാമ്രാജ്യം കെട്ടിപ്പൊക്കിയതോടെ വായനയും ചിന്തയുമൊന്നും അതിനാവശ്യമില്ലാതെയായി.

നമുക്കും വേണ്ടേ ഒരു മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജ്?

പ്രവാസികളുടെ നിഷേപത്തോടെ കേരള സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ മുന്നൂറു കോടി രൂപയുടെ മുതല്‍മുടക്കുള്ള മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജ് ആരംഭിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് വാര്‍ത്ത കണ്ടു.  (വാര്‍ത്ത ഈ പോസ്റ്റിന്റെ ചുവടെ).

ഏതാണ്ട് അറുപത്തഞ്ചു വര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ മുമ്പ് കോട്ടയം രൂപത ആതുരസേവനരംഗത്തെത്തി. നമ്മുടെ പ്രഥമ ആതുരാലയത്തിന്റെ ഇന്നത്തെ അവസ്ഥ ഈ രംഗത്ത്‌ സഭാധികാരികള്‍ക്കുള്ള പ്രതിബദ്ധത വെളിവാക്കുന്നു.

കാരിത്താസ്‌ ആശുപത്രി മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജ് ആക്കുന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് പലരും സംസാരിക്കാറുണ്ട്. നിഷേപിക്കാന്‍ വേണ്ടത്ര തുകയില്ലാത്തത് കൊണ്ടാണ് സമുദായംഗങ്ങളുടെ ഈ സ്വപ്നം പൂവണിയാത്തത് എന്നാണു പറഞ്ഞു കേള്‍ക്കുന്നത്.

ഇരുന്നൂറു കോടി രൂപ മുടക്കാന്‍ കോട്ടയം അതിരൂപതയ്ക്കില്ല എന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കാന്‍ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടാണ്. അത് ശരിയാണെങ്കില്‍ തന്നെ, നെടുമ്പാശ്ശേരി വിമാനത്താവളം ഓഹരി വ്യവസ്തതയില്‍ നിര്‍മ്മിച്ചതൊന്നും നമ്മുടെ അധികൃതര്‍ അറിയുന്നില്ലേ? ഇപ്പോള്‍ ഇതാ KIMS-ന്റെ മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജ് മറ്റൊരു മാതൃകയായി നമ്മുടെ മുന്നില്‍..

കാരിത്താസ്‌ ആശുപത്രി മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജ് ആക്കാന്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ചു, അമ്പത് ലക്ഷം രൂപാ വിലയുള്ള നാനൂറു ഓഹരികള്‍ വില്‍ക്കുന്നു എന്ന് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചാല്‍, യാതൊരു സംശയവും വേണ്ട, രണ്ടാഴ്ച കൊണ്ട് ഓഹരികള്‍ വിറ്റഴിയും.

ലോകത്ത്  നടക്കുന്ന മാറ്റങ്ങളൊന്നും ഉള്‍ക്കൊള്ളാനാകാതെ “രാജ്യവും ശക്തിയും മഹത്വവും” എന്റേത് മാത്രം എന്ന മനോഭാവത്തോടെയുള്ള ഈ പെരുമാറ്റത്തിന് ഹോശാന പാടാന്‍ വേണ്ടുവോളം ആള്‍ക്കാരുണ്ട്. അത് പോരാ, എല്ലാവരും അങ്ങിനെ തന്നെ പാടണം, ഒരുത്തനും എതിര്‍ത്തൊന്നും പറയരുത് എന്ന പിടിവാശി കൊള്ളില്ല പിതാക്കന്മാരെ....

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has okayed the setting up of a Rs.300 crore hospital and medical college in which the diaspora will be allowed to invest.

The Kerala Institute of Medical Education and Research will come up near Alappuzha in three years, an official said Sunday. Chief Minister Oommen Chandy cleared the project at a cabinet meeting last week.

In his budget, Finance Minister K.M. Mani had announced plans to set up five government medical colleges in the state. This is the first of them.

മേരി സിറില്‍ പ്രഥമ ക്നാനായ മങ്ക - കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷന്‍ വിശേഷങ്ങള്‍ തുടര്ച്ച

ഇദം പ്രഥമമായി നടത്തിയ ക്നാനായ മങ്ക മത്സരത്തില്‍ മേരി സിറില്‍ വിജയി ആയി. ഇന്നും കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷന്‍ ജനപങ്കാളിത്തം കൊണ്ട് വന്‍ വിജയം ആയിരുന്നു. കലാകായികമത്സരം വീറും വാശിയും അതിന്റെ ഉച്ചത്തില്‍ എത്തിച്ചു. ആവേശകരമായ പുരുഷവടംവലി മത്സരത്തില്‍ ന്യൂയോര്‍ക്ക്‌ ഒന്നാം സ്ഥാനത്തെത്തി. ചിരിയരങ്ങ് പുരോഗമിക്കുന്നു.

കഴിഞ്ഞ കാലങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നും വ്യത്യസ്തമായി സൌണ്ട് സിസ്റ്റം അതിമനോഹരമായിരുന്നു. പലപ്പോഴും പരാതി ഉയര്‍ന്നു കേള്‍ക്കുന്ന ഭക്ഷണവിഭാഗം ഉന്നതനിലവാരം പുലര്‍ത്തുന്നു. മത്സരങ്ങള്‍ ഓരോന്ന് നടക്കുമ്പോഴും നാളെ നടക്കാനിരിക്കുന്ന സിമ്പോസിയമാണ് എല്ലാവരും ആകാംഷയോടെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നത്. ബഹുഭൂരിപക്ഷം പങ്കാളികളുടെ ഇടയിലും ഈ കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷന്‍ പൂര്‍ണമായും ബഹിഷ്കരിച്ച കോട്ടയം പിതാക്കന്മാരെ ഇനിയുള്ള ഭാവി കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷന്‍വേദികളില്‍ പങ്കെടുപ്പിക്കേണ്ട എന്ന അഭിപ്രായം രൂപപ്പെട്ടു വരുന്നതായി കാണുന്നു. നാളെ നടക്കുന്ന സിമ്പോസിയത്തില്‍ ആരെങ്കിലും അത് പരാമര്‍ശിക്കുമോ എന്ന ഭീതിയില്‍ പിതാക്കന്മാരും അവരുടെ ശിങ്കിടികളും ആകാംഷയോടെ നോക്കി നില്‍ക്കുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ വന്നാല്‍ അത് കെ.സി.സി.എന്‍.എയുടെ  ഭാവി പ്രവര്‍ത്തനത്തില്‍ വൈദികരുടെ നേതൃത്വം ഭാവിയില്‍ ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടേക്കാം

അതുപോലെ മിഷന്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളില്‍ അല്‍മായപിന്തുണ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടേക്കാം. അതൊക്കെ ചരിത്രത്തില്‍ വലിയ മാറ്റങ്ങള്‍ക്കു വഴി തുറക്കാം. ഈ മാറ്റം മറ്റു രാജ്യങ്ങളിലെ പരിപാടികളില്‍ നിന്നും  നമ്മുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെ മാറ്റി നിര്‍ത്തപ്പെടുമോ? കാണാന്‍ പോകുന്ന പൂരം പറയണോ? കാണുക അത്ര തന്നെ. ഇത്രയ്ക്ക് വാശിയും വേണ്ടിയിരുന്നോ എന്ന് അധികാരികള്‍ ഓര്‍ത്തിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍!

കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷന്‍ കൂടുവാന്‍ വരാതെ ഇരുന്നവര്‍ ലൈവ് ആയി പ്രോഗ്രാം കണ്ടു സായൂജ്യം അടയേണ്ടി വന്നു. ഇന്നലെ തന്നെ ഏതാണ്ട് 35000-ത്തിനു മുകളില്‍ കാഴ്ച്ചക്കാരുണ്ടായി എന്നത് ഈ സത്യം പുറത്തു പറയുന്നു. എന്തിനു വേണ്ടി ആര്‍ക്കു വേണ്ടി ആരെ തോല്പ്പിക്കുവാനായിരുന്നു ഈ കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷന്‍ ബഹിഷ്കരിക്കുവാന്‍ ചരട് വലിച്ചവര്‍ ശ്രമിച്ചത്‌? അവരും മലര്‍ന്നു കിടന്നു തുപ്പുകയല്ലേ ചെയ്തത്? അല്ല അതിലും ദോഷം അല്ലെ ചെയ്തത്? ഇന്നത്തെ പ്രസിഡന്റ്‌ മാറും അടുത്ത ആള്‍ വരും പക്ഷെ എലിയെ പേടിച്ചു ഇല്ലം ചുടുവാന്‍ നോക്കിയത് നീതിക്ക് നിരക്കുന്നതാണോ?

അതുപോലെ മിഷന്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളില്‍ അല്‍മായപിന്തുണ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടേക്കാം. അതൊക്കെ ചരിത്രത്തില്‍ വലിയ മാറ്റങ്ങള്‍ക്കു വഴി തുറക്കാം. ഈ മാറ്റം മറ്റു രാജ്യങ്ങളിലെ പരിപാടികളില്‍ നിന്നും  നമ്മുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെ മാറ്റി നിര്‍ത്തപ്പെടുമോ? കാണാന്‍ പോകുന്ന പൂരം പറയണോ? കാണുക അത്ര തന്നെ. ഇത്രയ്ക്ക് വാശിയും വേണ്ടിയിരുന്നോ എന്ന് അധികാരികള്‍ ഓര്‍ത്തിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍!
