"Knanaya Catholic Society of Detroit Windsor (KCSDW) Executive Committee strongly and unanimously rejects the recent directive from Bishop Mar Jacob Angadiyath regarding the membership within Knanaya Parishes established in the St. Thomas Syro Malabar Diocese of Chicago.
We strongly disagree with the Bishop’s decision to allow membership to non Knanaya family members in Knanaya Churches which will be detrimental to maintain our separate culture and identity which has been safe guarded for centuries by our forefathers.
We also fully support KCCNA Executive Committee’s decision to reject the directives and all their efforts in this matter".
