എന്റെ പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട മക്കളേ,
ക്നാനായ സമുദായം നേരിടുന്ന യഥാര്ത്ഥ പ്രശ്നങ്ങളെപ്പറ്റി എഴുതുമ്പോള് ആദ്യമായി പറയാനുള്ളതു സമുദായത്തിന്റെ കേരളത്തിലെ തുടക്കത്തേയും, പിന്നീടുള്ള സമുദായത്തിന്റെ വളര്ച്ചയേയും, വികാരിയത്തായും, പിന്നീടു രൂപതയായും, ഇപ്പോള് അതിരൂപതയായും വളര്ന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റിയുമാണ്.
എന്റെ നേതൃത്തത്തില് കൊടുങ്ങല്ലൂരില് എഴുപത്തിരണ്ടു കുടുംബങ്ങള് എത്തുകയും, അവരുടെ സന്തതിപരമ്പര ഒരു പ്രത്യേക ജനമായി കേരള സമൂഹത്തില് നിലനിന്നും പോരുകയും ചെയ്തു. ഇന്നുചിലര് ഞാനെന്ന വ്യക്തി ഒരു കെട്ടുകഥയാണെന്നും ക്നാനായക്കാര് കേരള ക്രൈസ്തവരില് നിന്നുമുള്ള കേരളക്കാര് തന്നെയാണെന്നും വാദിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും, സത്യവും, ചരിത്രവും എന്റെയും, എന്റെ കൂടെ വന്നവരുടേയും അസ്ഥിത്വത്തെ സ്ഥിരീകരിക്കുന്നു.
പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് ചങ്ങനാശേ്ശരി രൂപതയില് കഴിഞ്ഞുവന്ന എന്റെ മക്കളുടെ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുകളും, തനിമ കാത്തുസൂക്ഷിച്ചതിനാല് നൂറ്റാണ്ടുകളോളം അനുഭവിച്ചുവന്ന പ്രയാസങ്ങളും പരിശുദ്ധ സിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പില് വ്യക്തമായും, സ്പഷ്ടമായും ബോധിപ്പിക്കാന് സാധിച്ചതു കൊണ്ടും, ക്നാനായത്തനിമ തുടര്ന്നും കാത്തു സൂക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടട്ടെ എന്നു പരിശുദ്ധ സിംഹാസനം ആഗ്രഹിച്ചതിന്റെയും പരിണിത ഫലമായി ക്നാനായക്കാര്ക്കു മാത്രമായി അനുവദിച്ചു കിട്ടിയതാണ് കോട്ടയം വികാരിയത്തും, പിന്നീടു ഈ കാണുന്ന ഇന്നത്തെ ക്നാനായ അതിരുപതയും, അതിനുകീഴിലെ മലബാറിലെ രൂപതക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്ന സംവിധാനവും.
മാക്കീല് പിതാവു മുതല്, ഇന്നധികാരത്തില് ഇരിക്കുന്ന പണ്ടാരശേ്ശരി പിതാവും, അതിരുപതാദ്ധ്യക്ഷന് മൂലക്കാട്ടു പിതാവുമെല്ലാം നിയമിതരായതും, ക്നാനായ തനിമ അഭംഗുരം കാത്തു സൂക്ഷിക്കുകയും, അതുറക്കെ പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ക്നാനായ അതിരൂപതക്കു വേണ്ടിത്തന്നെയാണ്.
ധാരാളം വൈദീകരും, സന്യാസ സമൂഹങ്ങളും ക്നാനായ സമൂഹത്തില് രൂപം കൊണ്ടതും, ഇന്നും നിലനില്ക്കുന്നതും ഈ രൂപത ഒരു പ്രത്യേക തനിമ കാത്തുസൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നവരാണെന്നും, അവരെ അംഗീകകരിക്കണമെന്നും കത്തോലിക്കാ സംവിധാനത്തിനു ബോധ്യം വന്നതു കൊണ്ടുമാണ്. ആയതിനാല് കത്തോലിക്കാ സംവിധാനാത്തിനു മൊത്തം തെറ്റുവന്നു എന്നു പറയാന് ആര്ക്കെങ്കിലും കഴിയുമോ? മാത്രവുമല്ല, അങ്ങനെ വിഡ്ഢിത്തം കാണിക്കാന്മാത്രം വിവരമില്ലാത്തവരുടെ കൂട്ടം ഒരു രാത്രി വെളുത്തപ്പോള് എടുത്ത തീരുമാനവുമല്ലല്ലോ.
ക്നാനായ സമൂഹം ഒരു കാരണവശാലും തങ്ങളുടെ തനിമയും, പൈതൃക സംസ്കാരവും കളഞ്ഞുകുളിക്കില്ല എന്നും, അവരുടേതു മാത്രമായ സംവിധാനങ്ങള് മറ്റുള്ളവരുമായി കൂട്ടുകൃഷിയായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുകയും, അനുഭവിക്കുകയുമില്ലെന്നും ക്നാനായംഗങ്ങള്ക്കും, കത്തോലിക്കാ സംവിധാനങ്ങള്ക്കും നന്നായറിയാം. എന്നാല്, തൊമ്മന്റെ അന്വേഷണത്തില് അധികാരമോഹികളും, സ്വാര്ത്ഥമതികളുമായി തരംതാന്നുപോയ എന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും, ചില വൈദീകര്ക്കും അവരുടെ ആജ്ഞാവര്ത്തികളും മനസ്സാക്ഷി സൂക്ഷിപ്പുകാരുമായ ചിലര്ക്കും മാത്രം ഈ ബോധ്യം തീരെയില്ലെന്നുമാത്രമല്ല, മറിച്ച്, തങ്ങളെ ഇന്നത്തെ നിലയിലെത്തിച്ച ക്നാനായ സമൂഹത്തെ ഇല്ലായ്മയാക്കാന് കൂട്ടുനില്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

സമുദായത്തില് വിദ്യാഭ്യാസവുമുള്ളവര്ക്കു മാത്രമല്ല, മണ്ണിനോടും കല്ലിനോടും പയറ്റിയ കുടിയേറ്റത്തിന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരില്പ്പെട്ട, ജീവിത സായാഹ്നത്തില് എത്തിനില്ക്കുന്ന അപ്പുപ്പന്മാര്ക്കുപോലും, ഈ തന്ത്രം തങ്ങള് കാത്തുസൂക്ഷിച്ചുവന്ന സംസ്കാരത്തേയും, പൈതൃകത്തേയും നശിപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള വിവരക്കേടാണെന്നു ബോധ്യപ്പെടുമെന്നു, വര്ഷങ്ങളോളം സെമിനാരികളില് പഠിപ്പിച്ചു പോന്നിട്ടുള്ളതും, മുലക്കാട്ടുപിതാവുള്പ്പെടെയുള്ളവര് പഠിച്ചതുമായ ആ പഴഞ്ചന് അഭ്യാസത്തിനു മനസ്സിലാക്കാന് കഴിഞ്ഞില്ലല്ലോ.
നൂറ്റാണ്ടുകളുടെ പ്രയത്നഫലമായി നേടിയ രുപതയുള്ളതുകൊണ്ടാണു താനും, പണ്ടാരശേ്ശരി പിതാവും ഇപ്പോള് പിതാക്കന്മാരായി സ്വപ്നതുല്യമായ ജീവിതം ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നതെന്നും, ഇതുപോലെ ഭാവിയില് മറ്റുചിലര്ക്കും അവസരങ്ങള് ലഭിക്കും എന്നും മനസ്സിലാക്കാനുള്ള സാമാന്യബോധവും വലിയപിതാവിനില്ലേ?
പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ മണ്ടത്തരങ്ങള് മനസ്സിലാക്കി ക്നാനായമക്കള് തങ്ങളുടെ തനിമ നിലനിര്ത്താന് പ്രതിജ്ഞാബദ്ധരായി, പ്രതികരണശേഷി നഷ്ടപ്പെടാതെ നിലകൊള്ളുന്നതില് തൊമ്മന് അങ്ങേയറ്റം സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു. പുറത്തുനിന്നും, അതിനേക്കാള് ശക്തമായി അകത്തുനിന്നും വേണ്ടപ്പെട്ടവരുള്പ്പെടെയുള്ളവരില്നിന്നും ക്നാനായ സമുദായം തങ്ങളുടെ നിലനില്പിനുപോലും ഭീഷണി നേരിടുന്ന ഈ സാഹചര്യത്തില്, ബഹുഭൂരിപക്ഷം ക്നാനായക്കാരും ഏകമനസ്സോടെ, ഒറ്റക്കെട്ടായി പൊരുതുന്ന സ്ഥിതിയാണ് ഇന്നുള്ളത്.
കത്തോലിക്കാ സഭക്കോ, സഭാസംവിധാനങ്ങള്ക്കോ ഒരു ക്നാനായക്കാരനും ഒരിക്കലും എതിരുനിന്നിട്ടില്ല, നില്ക്കുകയുമില്ല. പക്ഷേ, തങ്ങള് പിന്തുടരുന്ന പാരമ്പര്യം എക്കാലവും, വരും തലമുറകളിലും അഭംഗുരം നിലനില്ക്കണമെന്നേ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നുള്ളൂ. അതിനെതിരേ ആരു നിന്നാലും, അല്മേനിയായാലും കൊള്ളാം, സന്യസ്ഥരായാലും കൊള്ളാം, മെത്രാന്മാരായാലും കൊള്ളാം, ഒരു ക്നാനായക്കാരനും അതംഗീകരിക്കുകയില്ലെന്നും, അങ്ങനെയുള്ള ആളുകളെ അവരാരായാലും ക്നാനായ സമൂഹം ഒറ്റപ്പെടുത്തുമെന്നും, മനസ്സിലാക്കണം.
ക്നാനായ സമുദായം എന്നും നിലകൊള്ളണം. അടുത്ത തലമുറ ഈ സംസ്കാരം അറിയണം, മനസ്സിലാക്കണം. അതിനുള്ള ശ്രമം സമുദായനേതൃത്വത്തില്നിന്നും ഉണ്ടാകണം. അങ്ങനെ നമ്മള് പാടുന്നതും പ്രഘോഷിക്കുന്നതും അര്ത്ഥവത്താകട്ടെ

Valmiki created Rama and Ravana. Chazhikadan created Knai Thomman. So both are "HISTORY".
If that is the case may i humble ask who wrote the old testament and new testament of the BIBLE that you hold? Why so many different version of the Holy book? Why St.James edition - the version we and Vatican use is only 400 years old and not 2000 years old? - Because History of Christianity has EVOLVED and is constantly evolving. Thats why today our religion is more relevant than other religions. Ask any learned Priest/Bishop for confirmation.

Ramayana was written to put things in perspective and guide mankind during the Indus Valley civilization. But Ramayana was based on the then existing concepts of UPANISHADS. Later came the Mahabarata, within it was Bhagvat Gita, then came other concepts such as Adhi Shankaracharys (Malayalli) ADVAITA VEDANTA which still holds the Hindu religion together today.
When the Hindu religion stopped evolving during the last 500 years or so the relevance of Hinduism has diminshed. Muslim has never evolved over 1500+ years. Because of its evolution is why Christianity is still relevant.
Those who accepted the evolution of Hinduism remained religious. Those who did not accept the evolutions only ended up trying to distroy it, question it, kill it etc and ended up became Chovans and Pellayans.
If you want to make fun of Chazhikadan and Knai Thommas history, can you then kindly dig deeper and explain the concept of IMMACULATE CONCEPTION that is the foundation of Christianity.

During the current 'Scientific' age lots of people have questioned the concept of Immaculate conception and the Vatican has never being able to give a clear answer to that concept which was defined 2000 years ago in the Holy BIBLE. Similarly, We KNANAITES trust and believe in our tradition no matter who wrote it. Those of us who believe in it, lead our lives using ENDOGAMY as our corner stone that defines the KNANAYISM way of life. Ask any Knanaya VG,Priest, lay man or Bishop if this is a true statement or not. If they disagree then do a DNA test on them. Not us.
