Injunction ചിലവിലേക്കായി കൊടുത്ത തുക തിരികെ തന്നപ്പോള് തന്റെ നിസ്സഹായാവസ്ഥ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയ ജോയി കിഴക്കേല് വക്കീല് നോട്ടീസ് അയച്ച താന് പോലുമറിയാതെയാണ് ഇത് സംഭവിച്ചതെന്നറിയിച്ചു.
11 പേര് മാത്രം കൂടിയ ആ മീറ്റിങ്ങിന്റെ പിന്നിലെ ദുരൂഹത ഈ അടുത്ത കാലത്താണ് എനിക്ക് മനസ്സിലാക്കുവാന് കഴിഞ്ഞത്, Injunction Order മായ് മുന്പോട്ടുപോയാല് ശ്രി. ബേബിക്ക് സൊസൈറ്റി പ്രസിഡണ്ട് ഒരിക്കലും ആകുവാന് സാധിക്കില്ലായെന്ന് അനിയും, ടോണിയും തെറ്റിദ്ധരിപ്പിച്ചു. ഇവരുടെ അഭിപ്രായത്തെമാനിച്ച് ജോയിയെ പോലുമറിയിക്കാതെ അളിയന് ലഭിക്കുന്ന കസേരയെ ഓര്ത്ത് ഫ്രാന്സിസ് ഇല്ലിക്കാട്ടിലും ഈ ചരിത്ര വിഡ്ഢിത്തതിനു കൂട്ടുനിന്നു. ഇതുമൂലം ബേബിക്ക് കിട്ടിയ നേട്ടം കുറഞ്ഞത് 250-ല് പരം വോട്ടുകള്ക്ക് ജയിക്കേണ്ട ബേബി നാമമാത്ര വോട്ടുകള് നേടി വെറും ഒരു വര്ഷത്തേക്ക് മാത്രം സൊസൈറ്റിയുടെ കസേര സ്വന്തമാക്കി. ഐക്യത്തില് കഴിഞ്ഞ നമ്മുടെ കമ്മ്യുണിറ്റിക്കോ, കഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട് ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ ഒന്നര മില്യന് ഡോളറും, മുപ്പതു വര്ഷങ്ങളായി നിലനിന്ന ഐക്യവും സ്നേഹവും കെട്ടുറപ്പുമൊക്കെ തകര്ത്തെറിഞ്ഞ് കറുമ്പക്കുടിയില് വെറും 540 പേര്ക്ക് മാത്രമിരിക്കാവുന്ന തിയേറ്റര് മോഡല് കസേരയിട്ട ഒരു ചില്ലുകെട്ടിടവും. പണ്ടൊരുത്തന് പറഞ്ഞപോലെ കയ്യിലിരുന്ന കാശും പോയി -------ല് ------പറ്റുകേം ചെയ്തു. ആ ബേബിയും കൂട്ടരുമാണിന്ന് പള്ളിയുടെ ഏറ്റവും അടുത്ത സംരക്ഷകരായി, കൂടെ നിന്ന കുബുദ്ധികള് ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച അച്ചനേയും കൂട്ടുപിടിച്ച് ദുഷ്ടലാക്കോടെ ടൌണ്ഹാള് മീറ്റിംഗ് നടത്തി, ഇപ്പോള് പള്ളിയില് കസേര മാറ്റി ബഞ്ചിടുവാനുള്ള സംരംഭവുമായി ഇറങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.
